Desperately seeking

Do you have a very specific set of criteria for your search? Looking for property from a distance can be a frustrating process; arranging viewing trips costs time and money, the distances to be covered in this very rural and thinly-populated area are huge, and often you get here only to find that the house you came for has just sold or that it is in reality completely unsuitable for you. The best and cheapest properties sell very quickly, even in these times.

As a small, independent agent with no fixed affiliation to any group, I am able to maintain friendly relationships with all my colleagues in the area, as well as notaires, property dealers and the local community in general.  I am able to help foreign buyers by investigating among all my contacts, gathering the necessary details, carrying out initial visits and compiling a full dossier including multiple photographs, videos, plans, etc. In this way you, the client, can arrive in the region with a focused and relevant selection of houses for viewing, all of which you already know to be of interest to you.

Should you then decide to go ahead with the purchase of one of the houses found by me, I can lead the negotiations, talking directly to the vendor, to get you the best possible price ... more savings!

How it works and what it costs

Before starting to undertake a search for someone, the first step is a meeting or phone call between us so that I can get a broad idea of what you are looking for. If I feel I can help, I will ask you to complete a questionnaire which gives me as much detail as possible about the house of your dreams. I will also ask you to sign a contract which sets out the agreement between us and our obligations to each other. At this point, I will ask for a deposit payment of 600 euros. This initial payment serves two purposes:
a) it confirms that you are indeed serious about buying a property; and
b) it covers my costs in conducting the search on your behalf.

In return, I undertake to offer you a selection of at least 5 properties matching your criteria for possible viewing. Once you have studied the files for each of these properties and decided which you would like to view, I shall arrange your viewing trip and accompany you as necessary during this.

Should you eventually decide to buy one of the properties I have presented to you, my fee upon completion of the sale is 1.5% of the buying price net of all fees. Your initial payment of 600 euros is deducted from this final fee.
