Ever dreamed of escaping to your own rural French retreat? These pages will tell you all about Holt Immo, the beautiful area of France where we are based and the properties which we have available for sale. Use the buttons to the left to find out more.

We are Zoé and Paul Holt and we are based in La Souterraine, a small town in the rural area of central France known as La Creuse, which is a department of Limousin. Zoe is the first and so far the only registered estate agent of British origin in this department. Our services

If you buy a house through us, we will help you with every step of the transaction and continue to provide assistance after you have completed the purchase. This will include:

• accompanied visits to the notaire and/or translations of vital documents for you;
• simple inheritance advice;
• transfer of water and electricity;
• insurance;
• quotes for any necessary building works;
• accompanied meetings at schools, mairie, etc
• finding vets/kennels;
• all sorts of sundry issues which would be simple at home but might seem quite daunting if procedures and language are foreign to you.

All of this translation and handholding work is included in our agency fee. There is absolutely no extra charge. You will find other agents who charge as much as 8,000 euros extra for these services, and many others who simply do not provide the service at all.
